SUNDAY MORNING ADULT FORUM
Every Sunday between the 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. services, adults gather in the Parish Hall at 10:10 a.m. for varied discussions and presentations by speakers from within the congregation as well as guest speakers active in various ministries and social causes in Chicago and beyond.
COS CONNECT GROUPS*
The vision for COS Connect groups is to provide the means for real Christian community to develop. The COS Connect groups are a place to learn and grow from reading and sharing Scripture or books from the Christian tradition and grow closer to Christ through prayer. Centering Prayer, Morning Glories and the Ten Commandments Group. All three groups provide a deeper spiritual connection with fellow parishioners. We welcome newcomers to any of our COS Connect Small Group Programs. One of God’s wishes for us is to live in community where we can come together to learn, love and support one another – and have fun! Please contact Nancy Paradiso at 773-750-3490 to learn more about the programs.
Come and open your soul and replenish your mind each week at COS Connect Centering Prayer. Every Wednesday at 7pm in the Sanctuary we gather quietly and offer this ancient form of prayer. No experience needed, just an openness and desire to seek God in the silence. Contact our Parish Life Director for more information.
*MORNING GLORIES - BIBLE STUDY
This weekly COS Connect Group is a bible study group that meets each Tuesday morning at 7:00am in the Pleasant Room at COS. If you are an early-riser who wants to start off the day with a fresh scriptural perspective and a little gentle fellowship, please contact our Parish Life Director for more information.
*TEN COMMANDMENTS GROUP
The Ten Commandments COS Connect Group meets each Tuesday in the Pleasant Room at COS at 6:30pm. Based on the 10 commandments from Exodus, this group looks at how these traditional "rules" can open the hearts and minds of modern people.
Each month we explore Christianity and the world around us through varied and interesting literature on wide-ranging topics. We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, directly after the Healing Eucharist. Best of all, reading the entire book is not a prerequisite to participate! Check out the current books and full list for the year here, or contact the office for more information.
The men of Church of Our Saviour gather on the last Saturday of each month at 8:15 a.m. for coffee, breakfast, and to enjoy each other’s company. The group usually meets at the Whole Foods on Fullerton by the CTA station. Please contact the office for more information or to confirm the location.
THE TRINITY FELLOWSHIP (TTF)
The Trinity Fellowship (TTF) is comprised of parishioners in their 20s, 30s and 40s and from all walks of life. Members may be married or single, have children or none, live in the city or the burbs and from all faith journeys. TTF plans events throughout the year reflecting it's trinity of interests: social, spiritual and service. Contact our Parish Life Director for more information.
