Health & Wellness

Church of Our Saviour provides space for several programs related to health and wellness. Some of these are run by outside groups and some run as internal programs by members of the parish. Please contact our staff with any questions about these programs or if your group is looking for space to host a wellness program (e.g. Tai Chi, Yoga, Meditation, Art Therapy, Spiritual Direction, etc).

COS Greif Groups

At various times throughout the year we offering 6-week groups for people open to exploring grief and loss in their lives. This can be loss in many forms, either past or present, (partner, parent, child, career, identity, place and things that are unique to you). All are welcome to join these semi-structured, confidential groups.

 

These groups providing a place where you can explore:

  • the difference between grief and mourning,

  • exploring your loss,

  • embracing the uniqueness of your grief,

  • secondary losses,

  • nurturing yourself and developing a new identity,

  • as well as exploring the particular needs of the group.

Alcoholics Anonymous

COS hosts a Men's Monday AA group each week at 7:00pm. The meetings are held in the chapel space of the Rectory on the ground floor. (532 Fullerton).
