Childcare

Church of Our Saviour is a community that celebrates intergenerational worship and ministry! As such, we strive to provide safe and enjoyable places for children and adults to learn, grow, and serve together. Whether you are seeking assistance with childcare or you prefer to have your children with you in the pew, we provide options that will ensure you and your family have a joyful experience while visiting COS.

Our staffed nursery space is available each Sunday starting at 8:45am on the second floor of the Parish Commons. Our trained nursery staff will provide a safe and engaging space for your children during the service. There are always two staff present at all times with any children.

If you wish to keep your littles ones with you in the church service, there is a soft space near the front right side of the nave which we call the Prayground, where parents can sit with their children and where children can engage with books and coloring materials while interacting with the beauty and movement of the liturgy.

Nursery

Our staffed nursery space is available each Sunday morning starting at 8:45am on the second floor of the Parish Commons. There are always two staff members present with the children, each with a background in child care and safety. Our nursery space includes a variety of materials for children to engage with as well as a changing area for infants.

We also typically provide nursery care for other major community events and programming as well. You can contact the office with any questions.

All of our staff and ministry leads have received regular training around the Safe Church model and have undergone background checks to ensure the safest space for our community's children.

Prayground

We offer a soft space within the church in the northeast corner (near the entrance to the Parish Commons), called the 'Prayground'. This area is a great place to sit with your small children during the worship service, affording them a comfortable space to engage with coloring sheets or the children's bulletin activities. There are also small activity tables and books for the children to utilize.

This space is not 'staffed' so we do ask that you accompany your children by sitting close to them.
