Each Thursday this group gathers to explore centering prayer practices from centering prayer to lectio divina; the examine to the rosary. This is a wonderful opportunity to pause during a busy week and engage with silence and stillness. All are welcome. ​

Regular contemplative prayer offerings include:

 

• Lectio Divina ("Divine Reading") — contemplative encounter with short passages of scripture

• Rosary — contemplative prayer using traditional beads while meditating on the life of Jesus

• Centering Prayer — a brief liturgy that focuses on the quiet experience of the "inner encounter"

• The Examen — an Ignatian practice inviting us to acknowledge (examine) where we have found (or missed) the opportunity to experience God in daily life

• Visio Divina ("Divine Seeing") — similar to "Lectio Divina" using sacred images or icons
