For well over twenty years, Church of Our Saviour has been dreaming of a new community space with which to share our love of God with each other and the world. Now, in collaboration with Care For Friends, our dreams are on the cusp of reality. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we want to invite all to come to the dedication and blessing of the new Church of Our Saviour Parish Commons and the Care For Friends Community Hub housed within it.
The event will be on Saturday, October 18th with the following schedule:
2:30-3:30pm Building & Church Tours Come see the possibilities found in all three levels of the new building!
3:30-4:15pm Dedication and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Join us to hear speeches from some of our core partners that helped to make this building a reality.
4:15-5:00pm Blessing of the Spaces Help us bless all three floors of the new building, sanctifying the holy work to be done within them.
5:00-7:00pm+ Reception Stay for heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, music, and conversation/laughter to inaugurate the building as only we know how! Children are welcome.
While there won’t be any direct fundraising during this celebration, we do look to offset the costs through suggested donations of $50-100 per adult. However, we do not want money to be an obstacle to helping us celebrate this amazing event, so all will be welcome to pay whatever is realistic for them.
